We are delighted to be able to return to the track for training. Please read this information carefully before you attend your session.

Booking

You must only attend sessions you have pre-booked using the club’s Ticket Tailor system: https://buytickets.at/conac

If you try to join sessions that have not booked you will be sent away and may not be allowed to book onto future sessions.

You must be a current CoNAC member to attend any of our training sessions.

Make sure you have read and understood the Sportspark’s latest guidance https://www.sportspark.co.uk/covid-19/

Anyone feeling ill or showing signs of any symptoms of Covid-19 must not attend the session.

On the day of your session

Arrive at the Sportspark close to the start time of your session, and leave promptly after it finishes.

There are no spectators allowed, but if the athlete is 11 or under they must be accompanied – as per Sportspark’s T&Cs: https://www.sportspark.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/covid-TC-v4.pdf

Everyone attending the Sportspark must have pre-booked into an activity. We will be sharing our bookings with them each day. If you have a membership card, including red student membership, swipe through the turnstiles and follow the one way system to the right, past the sports hall and onto the track.

If you are not a Sportspark member you will need to queue up at the tills and may need to pay an entry fee. All transactions are now cashless.

Head directly to your coach – do not stop and mingle with other groups along the way.

Social distancing and hygiene

As an England Athletics affiliated club we are bound by their rules. Their latest guidance says social distancing and hygiene is key within a training environment and that 2m distance must be maintained at all times.

Training will be taking place in groups of up to 5 people and a coach. You must listen carefully to your coach’s instructions as your session will almost certainly look different to normal.

Some of the rules we have to follow include at least two empty lanes between runners, cleaning landing mats between each athlete jumping, using limited equipment and not sharing equipment.

There will be a hand sanitiser station at the entrance to the track (which is via the fire exist on the sports hall corridor), and another by the exit – which is our usual track doors. Please use these when you arrive and through your session as needed.

Finally… Please be respectful – of our coaches, club volunteers, fellow athletes, Sportspark staff, etc. This is new for everybody and we are all doing our best to get back to ‘normal’ whilst keeping everybody safe.

We will adapt and change our processes and hopefully continue to add more places or sessions as the weeks progress.
