TROWSE 10K

21st Edition: Sunday 15 March 2026
race starts at 9.00am

ABOUT THIS RACE

Our annual 10k road race is based at the Norfolk Snowsports Club in Whitlingham Lane, Trowse on the southern outskirts of Norwich.

Competitors run beside Whitlingham Broad before following a two-lap route along quiet roads through the heart of Trowse and close to Whitlingham Hall.

First held in 2005, this race has become a very popular event for runners, supporters and spectators. Beautiful scenery, splendid viewing opportunities and a lovely friendly atmosphere all help make for a great morning at the Trowse 10k.

We are licensed by England Athletics as a road race held under the UK Athletics Rules for Competition, licence number 30718. The course measurement was certified as accurate by an accredited AUKCM grade 1 course measurer on 22 October 2022; and our Certificate of Course Accuracy - certificate number 2022/512 - is valid for 10 years.

The minimum age to take part is 16 years on race day. No devices with headphones or earbuds, not even bone conduction headphones, may be worn while racing.

OUR THANKS

Thank you very much to all our race partners for helping us make the Trowse 10k happen each year:

And of course we could not stage this race without lots of cooperation and support from several other local organisations. Our grateful thanks therefore go to Crown Point Estate, Norfolk Snowsports ClubSt Andrew’s Church, Whitlingham Trust, Whitlingham Broad Campsite and last but not least the residents of Trowse for allowing us to run though your beautiful village each year.

ABOUT SPORTLINK

Serious about running, fitness and sport? Then get kitted out for all your requirements with a visit to the experts.

Sportlink Running & Fitness has more than 25 years experience in the sports industry providing first class and professional advice whilst helping you choose the right equipment for your individual and specific needs.

We have video gait analysis technology which uses a treadmill and Dartfish Digital Video Analysis software and we also have an on-site sports injury clinic.

Sportlink's video gait analysis uses a treadmill and Dartfish Digital Video Analysis software, which enables us to capture video and replay it in slow motion, as well as giving us the facility to measure angles and synchronise video clips side by side.

This helps us to analyse differences in gait patterns between running with old or unsuitable footwear, and new footwear suited to your biomechanical needs. For more info on video gait analysis please click here. Please note that in house video gait analysis is only a guide to your bio mechanical requirements.

Whilst we endeavour to give you the very best advice at all times, for those that may require a more rigorous analysis, Sportlink advise you to seek further advice from fully qualified podiatrists. At all times the customer makes the final choice when purchasing equipment and all our staff are only there to give you a guide as to what may suit your individual requirements.
