500 Club to Close
The CoNAC 500 Club is a members lottery dating back to the days of Norfolk Olympiads and Duke Street Running Club. It was an important means of raising club funds and very much a popular activity in those days.
However, times have changed and 500 Club membership has dwindled and administration workload increased, resulting in much lower benefit to the club and its members, with 85% not participating.
It is therefore with regret that Trustees have decided to bring the 500 Club Lottery to an end, effective 30 June. The May and June draws will therefore be the last.
If possible, please would you arrange to cancel your standing order after your June payment and by 22 June latest as I will then be requesting the account be closed by 30 June, before any receipts in July. Any uncancelled standing orders will simply be rejected after 30 June.
