At CoNAC we cater for athletes of all ages, abilities and ambitions from age 8 years upwards. We have a wide range of expert coaches who will do all they can to help you achieve your potential.
For young athletes, our Academy introduces 8 to 15 year olds to running, jumping and throwing, with the emphasis very much on fun and participation. During the darker months our Academy also takes part in Sportshall athletics, while in the lighter evenings we use the eight-lane athletic track at the Sportspark.
For athletes aged 16 and over, there are training sessions and competition opportunities to suit you whatever your age or ability. Email us in the first instance with your age, athletics experience and preferred events (if you have them), and we can direct you to the right session from there.
2017 will be a very busy Track & Field season. As always we have teams of all ages competing in the East Anglian League while our U13s, U15s and U17s will also be contesting the Eastern Young Athletes League.
Our seniors have a busy season ahead of them. We’re looking to field a strong team in the Southern Athletics League, hoping to win promotion back to Division 1.
We also have very strong representation in Team Norfolk, a composite team for our U17s and U20s. They won promotion in 2016 to the very top tier of the National Youth Development League and will compete against some of the very best young athletes in the country this year.
This season, across the various leagues we have four home meetings at the Sportspark – on 30 April, 17 June, 2 July and 20 August. Help is always needed for these meetings to run smoothly, so if you are available on any of these dates, please contact our Track & Field Coordinator Sarah Thomas – just click here to send her an email. Alternatively you could contact Tony Bradfield
Activities for all ages take place in accordance with UKA’s Approved Code of Practice for track and field events – please click here to view a copy.
