After a tremendous performance at Hatfeld in the East Regional finals, our four Sportshall teams can now look forward to the national Sportshall finals at Manchester on the 22nd and 23rd of April.
The under 13 boys saw a record win for them by 70 points with huge contributions from Conrad Winter, Daniel Williams, Henry Whall, Jacob Brown, Jake Hart, Joe Williams, Luke Spencer, Luke Watker, Michael Langley and Zak Collins-Iddi.
The closest win came from the under 15 boys against some very strong opposition. The team consisted of Charlie Williams, brother Alfie, Alex Simpson, Charlie Green, Josh Gosling and Tyler Bilyard. Charlie also came second overall.
As hoped our star studded under 15 girls were good enough to win by 21 points, Hannah Mayne (2nd individual) Serena Grace, Simone Ogba, Mia Hopson,Alice Hill, Eleanor Brown and Alisha Youngs
Finally, the under 13 girls with five of last year’s UK Champions who were still young enough overwhelmed the opposition with an amazing record 174 points win. The team was led by their twin captains Eden and Holly Harrison, the team consisted of Annibelle Joynson, Louisa Johnstone, Isabelle Moore, Martha Bennet, Zoe Powers, Ellis Stewart, Mary Hill, Amber Scott, Olivia Porter, Grace Daniels and Kaia Peiris.
This group are very special since they won the under 11 challenge 2 years ago, in track and field they
have won 2 EAL Leagues, 2 EAL Finals, 2 EYAL Plate Finals, 2 under 13 Regional Finals and the UK National Sportshall final, ten out of ten!
At Hatfield every team member record at least win.
Our 2 under 11 teams didn’t quite win but they performed really well and had a great day. Looking forward to the future could see some of these athletes achieving great results.
