CoNAC and the Round Norfolk Relay 2017

PBs galore at the South of England U15s and U17s Indoor Championships

Six CoNAC athletes attended the Indoor Under 15s & 17s South of England Championships at Lee Valley last weekend (7th & 8th January). The highlight was Femke Rosbergen on the Sunday (Coach David Pring) winning Silver in the 800metres in a time of 2m.24.32 seconds. Louis Albrow also ran on the Sunday in his first 400m. Seventh heaven for CoNAC heptathletes

Katie Daniels and Sarah Costello did the club proud this weekend, competing in the heptathlon at the English Schools Combined Events Regional Final. Both girls went with the aim to make the top ten in the challenging competition, which consists of 80m hurdles, high jump, shot, 200m, javelin, long jump and 800m. New British Record for Danny Nobbs

BWAA & City of Norwich Javelin thrower, Danny Nobbs, achieved a new British Record of 23.53m at the Northern Athletics Championships in Manchester on Saturday 11th June. Danny, who competes in the F54 category, and is coached by Tim Newenham, is now 7th in the world rankings and is hoping to be selected for the British Team at the Rio Paralympic Games. With ...
